Intrepid Marble and Granite is seeking an Account Manager who will work inside and outside of the Intrepid headquarters to provide professional sales service to all segments of the construction industry: Fabricators, Kitchen and Bath Design Centers, Contractors, Floor Covering Dealers, Builders, Architects and Designers. The Sales Representative must maintain thorough product knowledge, be aware of product availability and technical aspects of products and installation. The right individual must not only be self-motivated, have high energy, and be disciplined but also understand all components of the sales cycle to generate revenue to enhance their own personal income and increase market share for Intrepid. This manager will head the sale and promotion of slab, tile and industry-related products to any type of account within a defined geographical location in Oregon and elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest region. This is a salary plus, team bonus and commission-based position with no limit to income. This position does require inside and outside sales activity with some overnight travel.

What skills do I need to do the job?

2+ years previous experience in Outside Sales, including development of a new market
Floor covering, tile and/or slab industry experience preferred
College degree in business administration or marketing preferred
Highly productive, with great time management skills
Must have strong sales/customer service skills
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and telephone
Must be able to calculate figures and read documents and speak effectively before groups
Intermediate computer skills including MS Outlook, Word and Excel
